The Morrigan, also known as the Morrigu, was the shape-shifting Celtic Goddess that presides over rivers, lakes and fresh water. In addition, she is also the patroness of the night, magic, prophecy, priestesses and witches.

The Morrigan is a protector goddess of Celtic & Druidic lore and her animal counterpart is the Raven who could see both sides of the veil and bring messages from the other side.

Made of gypsum (cement), the Morrigan is adorned with a black feather, a Celtic cross and a Raven in her lap.
